1600 Ton Deck Fab and Install

Fairwinds' was engaged by a major independent E & P company to manage a major fast track project. The project included a new-build four-pile jacket and refurbished topsides and facilities weighing over 1600 tons.

Fairwinds International supplied the project management team to an independent E&P company for a major project. The scope was to refurbish an existing deck, add topsides facilities including new production equipment, ancillary piping, quarters and helideck. The deck weighed about 1600 tons upon completion as well as a new jacket fabricated and installed with the topsides.



Working with a local engineering company engaged for the detailed design, we acted as the owner's representative managing design issues and worked closely equipment and system vendors.

Our project management team consists of specialists in cost control, scheduling, process engineering review, HAZOP studies, project management, safety-in-design reviews, management of change and other owner studies.



In addition, as the owner's construction engineering team we are responsible for vendor surveillance, site fabrication management, commissioning, installation and start-up assistance.

We are tasked to furnish an offshore facility that meets all local and federal codes, meets the design criteria, is fabricated and installed in a manner totally committed to remaining free of incident and\or injury to personnel or the environment.
