Fairwinds experience and state of
the art design software have provided assistance to many
independent O&G customers with de-bottlenecking
reviews, & field optimization studies. In our ongoing
commitment to increase your production and enhance our engineering
capabilities and deliverables, Fairwinds International owns
the PIPESIM production system analysis software. It provides
the means to develop a ‘Total Production System Model’ from
reservoir through the processing facility.
Individual PIPESIM modules are used for a wide range of
analysis including:
• Well Modeling
• Oil well performance analysis
• Enhancing oil well production using nodal analysis
• Gas well performance using a conditional fluid modal
• Artificial Lift
• ESP Design
• Gas lift design: New mandral spacing
• Gas lift design: Current mandral spacing
• Network Modeling
• Looped gathering network
• Gas transmission network
• Water injection system
• Hilly terrain network
• Single Branch Pipeline and Facilities
• Single-phase pipeline
• Multi-phase pipeline
• Oil well performance
• Black oil calibration and performance forecasting
• Subsea tie-back design
Fairwinds has used the PIPESIM program to create fluid models
for the analysis of single and multi-phase flows in both
single and Network pipelines. We have also done modeling
studies of multi-block field developments in an effort to
optimize field production. The studies allowed the operators
to de-bottleneck, optimize gas lift programs, and foresee
how production changes can affect the entire field operation.
The studies included multiphase pipelines from numerous platforms,
production facilities and all wells in the field down to
the perforations. The PIPESIM program allowed us to analyze
additions and changes to the existing network from future
wells to optimize the required additional connections and
detect potential back pressure problems.
